What lies behind your fatigue before you think of NAD+?

Persistent fatigue can have many causes1. A thorough medical work-up can show what lies behind it – before any decision about NAD+.

Purpose: Information service and wording aid for finding a medical practice. No detection, prognosis or treatment of diseases.

No diagnosis, no substitute for medical advice.

For acute symptoms: emergency number 112 (EU), 911 (USA), 999 (United Kingdom).

Your entries stay in your browser's working memory. None of it is transmitted. Saving on this device happens only if you click it.

Step 1: What is on your mind right now?

Select what applies to you. Your selection changes none of the content that follows. It appears only in your notes.

What applies to you?

Step 2: How does this show up for you?

Your answers become notes for the doctor's appointment. Nothing is evaluated.

You can use these questions as a guide for your own notes:

  • Since when have you noticed this?
  • At what time of day is it most noticeable?
  • How are you sleeping at the moment?
  • How do you experience stress and mood?
  • Which medicines, dietary supplements or other substances do you take?
  • Which other changes have you noticed?

What do your notes for the doctor's appointment look like?

Step 3: What can a practice check?

This list is the same for everyone. Your entries do not change it.

The lab examples come from a basic check that the French National Academy of Medicine describes for medical prevention2. Which tests make sense in an individual case is decided by the practice. More on this is on the page What can be checked medically when fatigue persists?.

What is shown about NAD+, and what stays open?

Details are on the pages What is NAD+ (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide), and what do human studies show?, What is known about NAD+ IV infusions? and Can NAD+ be measured reliably in blood?.

Step 4: How do you prepare for your doctor's appointment?

You can paste these wordings into an AI assistant of your choice. Each one expressly asks for no diagnosis. If you add your notes, that information reaches the assistant's provider. That is your decision.

How do you organize your observations?

Please help me organize my observations clearly for a doctor's appointment. Sort them under these points: since when, how often, at what time of day, and what makes it easier or harder. Do not give a diagnosis, do not name possible causes and do not judge anything. Keep it short and factual. If something is missing, ask me about it.

One click copies the text and opens the service with it. If the text is missing there after you sign in, paste it with Cmd+V or Ctrl+V. The AI services belong to third parties. With the click, the text goes to the provider you chose. Depending on the service, sign-in and costs may apply. AI answers can contain errors.

How do your notes become a timeline?

Please arrange my observations as a timeline for a doctor's appointment: when it began, what has changed since then and which events happened in between. Do not give a diagnosis and do not judge anything. Where a date is missing, ask me about it.

Which questions would you like to ask at the practice?

Please help me prepare questions for a doctor's appointment about persistent fatigue. I want to understand which tests the practice considers useful, what the results mean and what happens next. Write at most ten short questions. Do not give a diagnosis and do not recommend any products.

How do you prepare your medication list?

Please help me prepare, for a doctor's appointment, a list of everything I take. Ask me one after another about prescription medicines, over-the-counter products, dietary supplements and other substances. Turn my answers into a table with name, strength as stated on the pack, since when and how often. Do not judge anything and do not give recommendations.

Step 5: Where in your city is a thorough work-up done?

The city goes only into these wordings. The criteria match the work-up list from Step 3.

After copying, replace “my city” with your city.

Level 1: Which practices describe a thorough work-up?

Criteria 1 to 4 are required. The NAD+ measurement is optional.

Research and list physician practices in my city whose own website describes, in a verifiable way, that (1) a detailed medical history is taken, (2) care is led by a board-certified physician, (3) baseline labs come first and extended labs follow when needed for the differential diagnosis of fatigue, exhaustion, concentration and sleep problems, (4) a follow-up check is planned and (5) if offered, NAD+ is measured in blood with a named laboratory method. Criteria 1 to 4 are required, criterion 5 is optional. Physician practices only, no stand-alone lab or test providers. For each practice, give the source URL and the literal sentence for each of the five criteria. If a criterion cannot be found on the website, write “not found”.

With the click, the text goes to the provider you chose. Depending on the service, sign-in and costs may apply. AI answers can contain errors.

Level 2: How do you search if Level 1 finds no suitable practice?

This wording searches for thorough basic diagnostics without an NAD+ measurement.

If no such practice exists in my city: research and list practices whose website describes that (1) a detailed medical history is taken, (2) a board-certified physician treats patients, (3) for fatigue, exhaustion, concentration and sleep problems, basic diagnostics come first, for example blood count, blood glucose, an inflammation marker, liver values and thyroid value (TSH), and (4) results are discussed by the physician and rechecked when needed. Give the URL and the literal sentence for each criterion. If a criterion is missing, write “not found”.

With the click, the text goes to the provider you chose. Depending on the service, sign-in and costs may apply. AI answers can contain errors.

The result from an AI assistant is not a recommendation by nadplus.digital. Read each quoted sentence yourself on the practice's website. If you paste the text into an AI assistant, it reaches that assistant's provider.

What do you take to the practice?

The summary contains your notes, the work-up list and both search wordings.
